How do I sign up for Stable?

Create your Stable account and your business in one form, then finish your kitchen's setup checklist so it can take your own orders.

On this page

Sign up on the Sign Up for Stable page. Your business is created as soon as you submit the form, with no application to wait on. Then you finish a short setup checklist for your kitchen before it can take your own orders. The video above walks through the whole flow.

Sign up and set up your kitchen

1. On the Sign Up for Stable page, create your account. Enter your work email, your first and last name, and a password, then click Sign Up. Organization Name and Mobile Phone Number are optional. If you already have a CaterCow account, log in instead.

2. Once you’re signed in, the page asks about your business. Enter your Business or Restaurant Name and choose your Primary Cuisine.

3. Start typing your business address, then pick it from the list of suggestions. You can add more addresses later.

4. Enter your Business Website. It must start with https://.

5. Choose Your Cancellation Policy. It sets how much notice a customer must give for a full refund, from Flexible (1 day) to Very Strict (5 days).

6. The last question, Do any of the following describe your business?, is optional. Check any that apply, or leave them blank.

7. Click Create My Business. Your business is created right away, and you land on your Kitchens page.

8. Your first kitchen is listed under Inactive Kitchens. It can’t take orders until you finish its Setup Checklist, which lists what’s still missing.

9. Click Finish Kitchen to work through each step. Each tab is one step. Kitchen Information is already done, so next come Business Hours, Menu, Delivery Settings, Team, and Legal & Bank Account. You can come back and finish them at any time.

10. At the top of the page, Marketplace shows Turned Off and In-House shows Setup Incomplete. Once you finish the checklist, your kitchen can start taking your own orders.

How Stable setup works

The marketplace is a separate step

Your Stable account is for taking your own orders. Being listed for CaterCow customers to find is a separate step that we review. Your kitchen needs a bank account verified through Stripe and a menu approved by CaterCow, and our team turns on your marketplace listing. Until then, Marketplace shows Turned Off on your kitchen’s page. To learn how the marketplace review works, see what happens after you apply to the marketplace.
