Each of your legal entities can hold more than one bank account, so payouts from different kitchens can land in different accounts. One account per legal entity is marked as the default.
Add a bank account
1. From your Caterer Dashboard, go to Legal & Bank Accounts and open the legal entity you want to add an account to.
2. Select the Bank Accounts tab and add a new account. You’ll securely enter your account and routing numbers — CaterCow never stores or sees your raw account number.
3. Choose which of your kitchens should route their payouts to this account.
The first bank account your business adds is approved automatically, so payouts can start right away. Any account added after that needs a review from our team before we can send payouts to it. This is a fraud check, and there’s nothing you need to do. If you’re waiting on a second or third account, email us and we’ll check on it.
Assign kitchens to an account
Every kitchen pays out to exactly one bank account. To split payouts across accounts, assign each kitchen from the account’s settings. Reassigning a kitchen moves its payouts to the new account, including any payout that hasn’t gone out yet.
You can’t delete a bank account while kitchens are still assigned to it. Reassign those kitchens to a different account first.
If your account isn’t verified with Stripe yet
Before we can send marketplace payouts, your legal entity has to verify its identity with Stripe. Until it does, your kitchen’s Legal & Bank Account tab says the account isn’t verified with Stripe yet. You can keep taking your own in-house orders in the meantime. See How do I verify my identity with Stripe to get paid?
Who can make changes
Adding, editing, or deleting a bank account takes the Admin or Finance / Hands-Off Owner role on your team. If we’ve locked your account’s bank details, nobody on your team can add, edit, or delete a bank account. Email us at support@catercow.com to make a change. See How do I manage my team on CaterCow? for how roles and permissions work.
