While your group order is still collecting responses, you can fix meals on its page. You can change or delete a meal you added for someone, and you can leave a teammate’s own pick out of the order.
1. On your group order’s page, the responses table lists everyone who’s picked a meal so far. What you can do depends on who made the pick:
- Meals you added on someone’s behalf have Edit and Delete.
- Meals your teammates picked themselves have an Exclude box.
2. To change a meal you added, click Edit. In the Edit Meal popup, choose a different meal, and change the name or special request if you need to. Click Save Meal.
3. To take a meal you added off the order, click Delete. It’s removed right away.
4. You can’t change a meal a teammate picked themselves, but you can leave it out of the order. Check Exclude next to their name. Their meal is crossed out, won’t be ordered, and no longer counts toward your meals total. To add it back, uncheck Exclude.
How edits and exclusions work
- Changes stop when responses close. Once your group order’s deadline passes or the order is placed, the responses table is read-only. To change a placed order, see How do I modify my order?.
- Opted-out teammates can’t be excluded. They already told you they won’t need a meal, so they don’t count toward your order.
- Guests show with Edit and Delete. People who responded as guests are listed by the name they entered, like meals you added.
- Your teammate sees that their meal is left out. When they open the group order, it says their meal isn’t included and asks them to contact you if that’s a mistake. They can’t pick a different meal while it’s excluded.
- Removing someone from your organization can do this for you. When you remove a teammate, the box that excludes them from upcoming meal selections is checked by default.
- Who can make these changes: the person who created the group order and your organization’s Admins. See what each role can do.
