Group Orders

Where can I see all my upcoming meals?

Your meal calendar shows every group meal you can join, day by day, and each tile tells you what’s next for that meal.

Open the link your organizer sent you, or log in and open Meals. Your meal calendar shows every group meal you can join, by day. The video above walks through it.

Read your meal calendar

1. Open your meal calendar. Each day with a meal shows a tile with the restaurant, the time, the address, and a label that tells you what’s next.

2. Read the tile’s label to see what’s next:

  • Choose Your Meal — you haven’t picked yet. Tap the tile to see the menu.
  • YOU PICKED, with your meal’s name — you’ve picked. Tap the tile to change it before the ordering deadline.
  • AUTO-PICKED, with your meal’s name — auto-pick is on for your account, and we chose a meal for you. Tap the tile to see it or change it before the deadline.
  • Opted Out — you told your organizer you won’t be there that day.
  • No Meal Was Chosen — the deadline passed before you picked.
  • Responses Open and a date, marked RESTRICTED — this meal is further out than your organization lets you respond. Check back on that date.
  • NOT INCLUDED — your organizer left your meal out of this order.

3. To pick a meal, tap a Choose Your Meal tile. The menu lists every meal you can choose. Tap one. Before you confirm, add any food allergies or special requests for the restaurant under Dietary Requirements & Allergies. Then tap Confirm & Back To Orders. The tile now says YOU PICKED, with the name of your meal.

4. Once a meal’s ordering deadline passes, its tile turns gray and locks. What it shows then is final.

5. A tile that says View Menu is a meal your organizer ordered for the whole group, like a buffet. There’s nothing to pick. Tap it to see the full menu.

How your meal calendar works

  • You can change or cancel your meal any time before the ordering deadline. After that, the tile turns gray and locks. To pick something else, tap the tile, then Change My Meal; choosing your meal walks through it. If you won’t be there, cancel your meal so your organizer knows not to order for you.
  • Your organization may limit how far ahead you can pick. Those tiles say Responses Open, with the date you can start.
  • On a phone, your meals show as a list, one week at a time. The tiles work the same way.

Can’t pick another meal?

Your organization may limit how many meals you can pick in a set period, like one a day. If you try to pick more, you’ll see a message with the limit. When the group order has a stipend, you can still pick the extra meal, but you pay its full price yourself. Ask your organizer if you need an exception.
