A review is your own public rating of an order. A team survey asks your teammates whether they liked a past order, and the answers stay inside your organization.
- A CaterCow review is the 1–5 star rating you leave on an order. It’s posted on the restaurant’s public page, it helps the restaurant improve, and it earns you CaterCoins. See Why are reviews important?
- A team survey lets your teammates give a past order a thumbs up or thumbs down, with an optional comment. It works on any past order, and it’s especially handy after a group order, when everyone ate something different. Survey responses aren’t posted publicly, and they don’t earn CaterCoins.
Survey your team about an order
The video above walks through the whole flow.
1. From your Orders page, click Past Orders, then click View Order on the order you want feedback on. See How do I find and view my orders?
2. Click Survey Your Team. The button shows up a couple of hours after the order’s delivery time.
3. Click Copy Link, then share the link with your team however’s easiest, like in Slack or an email. It’s the same link for every order: it opens a page where your teammates can rate your organization’s recent orders.
4. As your team responds, open the survey again to see the tally of thumbs up and thumbs down. Below it, each response shows who answered, whether they liked the order, and any comment they left. On a group order, each response also shows the meal that person picked.
How team surveys work
- Survey responses stay inside your organization. They aren’t posted publicly, and they don’t earn CaterCoins.
- Your team uses one survey link for every order, so you can share it once.
- Only people in your organization can respond. Anyone else who opens the link and responds joins your organization first, so share it only with your team. If your organization is invite-only, people you haven’t invited can’t open it.
What your teammates see
The survey link opens a list of your organization’s recent orders. To respond, a teammate logs in or signs up, then taps thumbs up or thumbs down on an order and can add a comment.
Teammates who use the CaterCow app also get a reminder to rate the order. On a group order, only the people who picked a meal get it.
Download every response
Organization admins can download all of the organization’s survey responses as a CSV. On your Orders page, click Reports. Under Employee Survey Responses, choose a month and year, then click Download CSV.
