Many restaurants let you pick up your order from one of their locations instead of having it delivered. Pickup orders have no delivery fee. The video above walks through the whole flow.
Choose pickup
1. On a package page, enter your event address, date, time, and headcount. Then open Delivery Method and choose Pickup. The price updates, and the Delivery line shows no fee.
2. Click Customize & Pay. At checkout, Delivery Method under Delivery Info is set to Pickup. You can switch back to Delivery here anytime before you place your order.
3. Under Pickup Location, choose where you’ll pick up your order. The map shows each location and your event address. To see the route from your event address to the location you chose, click Google Maps Directions.
4. Add a contact name and mobile number. A company name is optional for pickup orders.
5. Click Place Order. In the Confirm Order Pickup popup, check I Will Pick Up This Order, then click Confirm Pickup. If you meant to have it delivered, click Edit Delivery to go back to Delivery Info.
6. Your order is placed. Its details show the pickup date and time and the pickup address. Click the address for directions.
How pickup orders work
- Pickup orders have an exact pickup time instead of a delivery window.
- If the location has pickup instructions, they show on your order details.
- On the search results page, you can choose Pickup in the search bar. Your results then show only restaurants with a pickup location within 50 miles of your event address.
What if…
Pickup is grayed out or missing? The restaurant doesn’t offer pickup, or has no pickup location within 50 miles of your event address. Choose delivery, or try another restaurant.
I see a note that the pickup location is far from my event address? It’s a reminder, not an error. Check the other locations, or switch to delivery.
