The order came on time which was great and the food tasted very good. The portions were on the small side but still everyone enjoyed their meals. The main issue was that the order was not 100% correct. Two of thirteen people ended up eating something other than what they ordered because of it. The food was still good, just disappointing that it was not 100% correct. That being said- our employees did not expect a holiday lunch this year so they were happy that we were able to order individually wrapped holiday meals.

We've been ordering once weekly and have tried different dishes on different nights. All dinners have been delicious with vegetables galore and are inexpensive. Note: We're senior citizens so we always request low salt and sauces on the side. Best dishes (although all have been exceptionally good) have been vegetable burger, roast chicken, ribs.

My wife and I definitely enjoyed our meal! Her steak was cooked perfectly. I would have liked a bit more sauce on the salmon but the flavors were still really tasty. I would love to give Cater Cow a 5-star review, but sadly I think 2 stars may even be too generous. I'll start by saying all of my guests thought the food was delicious and healthy - which was exactly what I was going for. Unfortunately, I was trying to serve a population that needed gluten-free food. This looked like a good menu for that and when I inquired about gf options, the caterer messaged back they have gf options. I proceeded to pay for the order, and included questions about which of the items would be gf and which would need to be swapped out to be gf. I didn't hear back from them, so a couple of days later, I called, then called again when I didn't hear back. I finally got a call from the caterer who sounded extremely annoyed that he had to speak with me. He said he could swap out couscous for rice and it would all be gf, which was great. I also had to clarify which of the dishes had nuts because I found I would be hosting someone who is allergic. He messaged back that there would be no nuts in any dishes. On the day of, the food was lovely, EXCEPT, there was a quinoa pilaf that arrived in addition to the rice. It looked lovely, BUT, my guest found almond slivers in the quinoa pilaf. Obviously NOT nut-free... and we received a bunch of dinner rolls, which led me to question the whole order (if it was really gf? Were these gf rolls? and thank God the woman with the nut allergy didn't get any of the quinoa pilaf!). I feel like all of this could have been avoided if I could have just spent a few more minutes on the phone with the caterer to iron out the details. Sadly, he told me that he was not allowed to speak with me by phone. When I suggested to the Cater Cow support that this barrier could be eliminated for greater ease in user experience, it felt like I was being brushed off by both of them. Too bad, otherwise, this could have been a great experience.

Definitely would recommend. The food was tasty and plentiful. My only suggestion to anyone who orders in the winter, you should have the racks along with the sternos so that the food remains hot. I ordered for an event which started half an hour later so the food cooled off a bit.

The food tastes really good. It's also a nice option because it can sit out awhile without losing its appeal/taste/flavor. The meeting we ordered the meal ended up going 45 minutes past its scheduled lunch time, but it all worked out. We got the salmon, chicken, and veggie lasagna. The lasagna and salmon were hits. On the other hand, the food showed up 15 minutes late, hence the below average rating.
