Order Catering with a Purchase Order

At CaterCow, we’ve always designed our platform with the business customer in mind. From easy group ordering to curated menu options for every office size and occasion, our goal has been to make ordering catering as easy and stress-free as possible.

One feature we’ve quietly supported for a while—but haven’t really talked about—is the ability to place catering orders with a Purchase Order (PO).

Many of our long-time customers already know this and have been happily submitting POs with their catering requests. But as our new head of marketing pointed out (and they’re absolutely right), there are plenty of companies out there searching specifically for caterers who accept purchase orders and don’t realize CaterCow is already set up for it.

So consider this our official announcement: Yes, CaterCow accepts Purchase Orders.

We never thought it needed a big splashy rollout—after all, making life easier for business customers is just part of doing the right thing. But if you’re an office manager, HR lead, or procurement team member who prefers to process catering expenses via PO, we want you to know that you’re covered with us.

Why use a Purchase Order for Catering?

Company compliance: Some organizations require all vendors to be paid through an approved PO system.

Clearer record-keeping: POs streamline your internal approval workflows and documentation.

Budget control: Using POs ensures catering spend is pre-authorized and tracked.

How to use a PO to order catering at CaterCow

  1. Email support@catercow.com
  2. We'll send a few qualifying questions about payment terms, finance contacts, etc
  3. We opt your account in to be PO-ready

If your organization needs the purchase order displayed on the invoice, it's simple and easy for us to add.

Our team will make sure everything is properly documented and invoiced so it flows through your accounting system without a hitch. We do the work up front so you and your finance team don't have added work later!

We’ve supported POs for years, and we’ll continue to improve the ordering process for business customers—because thoughtful touches like this are what turn one-time orders into long-term partnerships.

So whether you’re planning a weekly lunch, a quarterly all-hands, or a one-time celebration, know that CaterCow makes it easy to order catering the way your company already works.
