Yes. Any Admin or Orderer can share a card they’ve added, so other Admins and Orderers on the team can pay with it at checkout. The video above walks through it.
Share a card with your organization
1. Open Credit Cards from the menu on the left side of your dashboard, then click the card you want to share.
2. Check the box that says Share With Organization. If you belong to one organization, it’s filled in for you. If you belong to more than one, choose which one from the Organization menu.
3. Click Update Card. The card now shows Shared With and your organization’s name, and other Admins and Orderers on that team can choose it at checkout.
You can also check Share With Organization when you add a new card from the Credit Cards page. To stop sharing, open the card, uncheck the box, and click Update Card.
Paying for someone else’s order
An Admin can check out any order in the organization, including one a teammate started, and pay with their own card. That card stays private unless the Admin chooses to share it. Orderers can check out only their own orders.
So if you don’t have a card handy, ask an Admin on your team to submit the order for you. No Admin yet? See How do I add people to my organization? and What Permissions/Roles can I give teammates?
Who controls a shared card
- A shared card still belongs to the person who added it. No one else, including Admins, can edit or delete it.
- Deleting a shared card removes it for everyone. If the person who added it deletes it, it disappears from checkout for the whole team.
- Staff can’t see or use credit cards. Only Admins and Orderers can pay with a shared card.
If your organization would rather pay by invoice than by card, see How does invoicing work for my organization?
