The crust on the empanadas was not even cooked through. Barely brown color, not crusty at all. When I complained, I was told that these empanadas are not fried but baked and therefore, the crust do not brown well. However, the dough was raw and disgusting. The chicken empanadas were very salty. We provide these meals to our students and they had to microwave it to cook the crust further.

HUGE hit with the empanadas. My Dominican guy said “THESE are empanadas. Those other things we’ve gotten before were not empanadas. The ham one tastes like what I make at home.” Two thumbs up! :)
